Picking Corn at Harry Here Farm

This weekend, I was thrilled to join the folks at Harry Here Farm in Exeter, Rhode Island, to help pick some corn. Recent storms bent the stalks of their blue corn, making it difficult to harvest using farm machinery, so for a few hours, I got the chance to help pick it by hand—channeling my inner pioneer gal. We had a lot of fun picking and talking and were rewarded with Snickers Bars when we reached the end of our rows!
