Sunday Tea at Smith’s Castle (Smith’s Castle, North Kingstown, RI)

Front Cover.png

Smith’s Castle is a house museum located at 55 Richard Smith Drive in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and is one of the oldest houses in the state. The docents dress in period costumes and lead visitors on tours of the house and grounds, telling fascinating stories about the folks who once lived in the house.

Smith’s Castle has invited me to speak at a Sunday Tea on June 2 at 4:00 p.m. about The Curious Childhood of Wanton Chase, a wonderful historical storybook about the Rose Island Lighthouse I wrote with a team of four talented women. The book chronicles the true-life boyhood of Wanton Chase, who lived with his grandparents at the lighthouse until he was seven years old. Please join us for tea, crumpets, and some heartwarming stories at the beautifully restored Smith’s Castle!
