Smith's Castle is a house museum at 55 Richard Smith Drive in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, and is one of the oldest houses in the state. The docents dress in costume and lead visitor on tours of the house and grounds, telling fascinating stories about the folks who once lived in the house.
I am very honored to have been invited to speak about my novel, Frozen Voices, to a group of Smith Castle docents at one of their potluck dinners. Although the presentation is not open to the general public, I did want to post it here, to give a shout out to the great group of dedicated historians who serve as docents…including my mom, Marilyn Harris!
